Mission Statement:
The mission of The Cody Cupboard is to reduce hunger in the Cody area by providing food assistance to those in need and by engaging in outreach and advocacy.
History:
Prior to the Cupboard’s inception, several churches had independent food pantries. With some funding from the Cody Council of community services, The Cody Cupboard was incorporated in June of 1987 and housed in the Park County courthouse basement. In 2001, the Cupboard moved to the City of Cody owned building behind the Chamber of Commerce. In January 2017 a City of Cody owned Quonset hut was beautifully refurbished into our current location at 602 16th Street.
